Okay, so the scale MUST be defective, right? After another week of increasing the exercise, I’m UP again. I guess I should be glad that this scale at least supports my weight and doesn’t break under the pressure of such a difficult task. So, this week’s weigh in looks something like…
Weight: 217 lbs.
Waist: 40 inches
The bright spot again, is that I’ve got a third consecutive week with my waist dropping half an inch. I shouldn’t expect to see big results so quickly, but that first week just had me excited.

I clearly remember going to the men’s clothing store with mom and dad to get dad some size 40 pants. It was such a big deal and I could tell that dad was so discouraged and baffled almost at the possibility!
