Okay, good news to report on week 1. My body was absolutely shocked that I exerted it, and it responded by dropping 4 pounds and a half inch from the waist. As you’ve gathered, it’s time for the weekly weigh in…
Weight: 215 lbs.
Waist: 41 inches
How did I do it? I started out nice and easy, leaning on a training program I’ve enjoyed in the past called combat conditioning by Matt Furey. I literally only spent 5-7 minutes per workout before jumping in the shower (Monday – Friday). I’ve experienced quick results in weight loss previously using combat conditioning, so I wasn’t surprised. The progress won’t always come so easily, but the initial shock to the body sure did the trick this week.
Lost 4 lbs? Grr! I’m so jealous! Now that I’m getting seriously back into Matt Furey I’m hoping to see some actual weight/chub loss soon.
