Gotta Stop the Cravings

Okay, so part of the reason why I need to drop 30 pounds is that every time I get the kids to bed at night, I stay up a little too late and LOVE to pound the junk food.  Sometimes it’s chips and salsa, sometimes it’s candy, sometimes it’s popcorn, but nearly every night it’s something!

I read an interesting article on Revolution Health entitled “Reset your mind to beat your cravings” that gave some good insight into how to break this habit.  

The article covers four main things: 

1)The stress trigger
2) Indulge on occasion
3) Mix up your patterns
4) Make healthy associations

The biggest one for me right now is #3 and I’m mixing it up tonight with a nice big glass of water and no treats.  Here’s to breaking the pattern!
