HCG Diet

There are a lot of people out there who need and want to lose weight, safely and effectively. Different diets and exercises offer possible solutions, but not all are the best fit for any specific person. Those who have tried everything from starving to specific food diets and haven’t had results may want to consider a different approach – hormones.

When a woman is pregnant, her body produces a compound known as Human chorionic gonadotropin (or HCG). This hormone allows the body to transform the fat of the mother into food for the baby. It is one reason why a woman can be throwing up for months during a pregnancy and the fetus remain perfectly fine. While this hormone is typically only available in good quantities during pregnancy, it has the potential to do the same thing for non pregnant people.

Collected from pregnant women and then refined and sterilized in a lab for use by consumers. The typical amount of HCG in the body is less than 5 mlU/mL. When a woman is pregnant, this amount increases exponentially so that by the fortieth week she is producing 117,000 mlU/mL. This massive amount of HCG is important for the mother and fetus, but a vast amount of it is usually wasted – thus, the source of extracted HCG.

After it is extracted and sterilized it is often given as a series of shots from a doctor. The doctor will prescribe and monitor the amount of HCG given to the patient and can adjust the dosage as necessary and effective. It provides the same fat dissolving power to the weight loss client as it does a pregnant mother.

Also becoming quite popular are HCG pills. These capsules are filled with the same hormone and are taken internally and without doctor supervision. They give the same impact as the shots without the needle and allow the body to take advantage of the power of the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone. The capsules are available online or at health stores around the United States and have established themselves as a strong contender in the weight loss product market.

While taking HCG, by shot or by pill, there are some dietary changes. The recommended number of calories per day, while on HCG, is five hundred.  This is an important step in the process. HCG does indeed allow the fat from the body to be consumed as fuel, but if a regular diet is provided (one that typically gives the body all the nutrients it needs a day) then the body will not turn to the fat molecules to get energy and the fat remains.

In the end, the HCG diet and hormone treatment is a great way to lose weight and become healthier. It isn’t a synthetic drug, rather, it is a natural hormone that interacts with the body on a microscopic level to help remove old fat tissue. Definitely worth a shot for anyone who has “tried them all” on the diet scene and needs another option.
